Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have consistent hair loss. Please suggest some medicine or treatment plan. Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I suggest you follow these. Increase protein intake in your diet. Eat eggs, chicken, dairy products, pulses, walnuts, dry fruits, etc. Avoid stress. Practice meditation and yoga. Take Tablet H-vit forte (dietary supplement) once daily after breakfast for 30 days. Use a broad-brimmed comb. Avoid combing wet hairs. Avoid shampoos loaded with chemicals. Do you have an itchy scalp? Please attach a clinical picture to assess scalp hair density and type of hair loss so I can guide you accordingly. Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply. I am vegan.

Hi,

You can eat dry fruits, fortified cereals, oats, cauliflower, nuts, onion, and whole grain. Please answer the following questions. Do you follow any crash diet? History of weight loss or gain? Any recent illness? History of fever? Any mental stress, depression, or grief? Recent hair procedures? Do you have an itchy scalp? Do you have any vitamin D or calcium deficiency? Please attach a clinical picture. Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply. I have attached my blood report. I am following intermittent fasting (16/8 diet). My weight is steady and I am having hair-loss since last 35 years. No history of fever, no mental stress, depression, or grief. I did not do any recent hair procedure. I do not have itchy scalp. Please refer to the blood report. I have iron and hemoglobin deficiency. Regards.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I can see the iron deficiency from the reports attached (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity). Nutrition is the key to healthy hair, so have a healthy diet. Regards.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank yoy for the reply. Did you read the report? I am eating healthy and sufficient food.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Have you checked your Zinc and Vitamin D, Serum TSH (thyroid-stimulating hormone) levels?

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply. Yes. It is in the report.

Hi,

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply. I have sent two reports.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com

I can see the dandruff in your hair. I suggest using Scalpe shampoo (Ketoconazole) twice weekly for six weeks. Take Tablet Shelcal (Vitamin D3 and Calcium) 500 mg once daily after dinner for 15 days, Hair pill like Perfectil plus or Zincovit (multivitamins). Drink a glass of carrot juice. Eat cheese, paneer, rajma, lentils (dal), spinach, nagli papad. Eat diet rich in antioxidants. Eat green veggies and fresh fruits. Hair loss is possible due to poor sleep, poor nutrition, blood loss (surgery in past), illness in past, lack of adequate nutrition. Maintain proper hair hygiene. Regards.
