My wife has been suffering from a severe hair fall. I have attached her blood reports below. Can you prescribe medications for this condition?

I understand your concern. I went through your reports (attachment removed to protect the patient's identity) it looks like she has vitamin B12 and D deficiency. I have a few questions for you.

  1. How long has the hair fall been?
  2. When is the hair fall more?
  3. Is she taking a normal diet?
  4. What are the hair care regimens she follows?

Hello doctor,

Thank you for your reply.

Here are the answers to your questions.

  1. She has hair fall throughout the day.
  2. It is happening while combing, bathing, and applying oil as well.
  3. She eats junk sometimes, otherwise has a normal diet.
  4. She is using coconut oil.
  5. She washes her hair every alternative day due to an oily scalp.
  6. She visits the parlor every six months for trimming and nothing else.

I went through the prescription attached. These are the right medications. Continue with these medicines for at least two months, as it will take two months to reduce hair loss. Regrowth can be expected in four months. Let her have a good diet.
