Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I get pain in my right leg mid-shaft femur when I walk a lot but it reduces while sleeping. The doctor denied the presence of any tumor after checking my MRI, CT scan, and X-ray reports. But the doctor mentioned that I had a hairline crack and suggested 14 days of physical therapy. I am a bone cancer survivor, which occurred 20 years back in the right humerus bone. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. As the doctor has mentioned that you do not have any tumor, it can be due to the weakness of muscles. I suggest you do hip abductor exercises regularly. In case of severe pain, I suggest you consult a pain physician and opt for a trigger point injection. I also suggest you share the reports of the MRI (magnetic resonance induction) and CT (computed tomography) scan to assist you further. I hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
