Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 29-year-old woman. Over the past two months, I have been struggling with severe headaches, and it has been taking a toll on my emotional well-being. I have been experiencing intense throbbing pain, typically on one side of my head, often accompanied by nausea, and sensitivity to sound. I find it hard to go about my day with this constant fear of an impending headache. I am feeling quite depressed as a result. Could you please tell me whether these symptoms are likely to persist for the long term, and if there are any permanent solutions to manage and find relief from these symptoms?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for writing and I understand your concern.

Such headaches with nausea are associated with vision. When there is a difference between eye power and both eyes have different powers, it can lead to a one-sided headache and vomiting, so I would suggest checking your eye power once, and then you can use glasses if needed. I would suggest you check your blood pressure as well. These symptoms will not last long, so do not worry. If you have any stress, then I would suggest you start meditation and exercise. It will help you. Take a proper diet, and reduce your intake of sugar and caffeine-containing products like coffee and chocolates.

If you are already using glasses please let me know.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
