Absolute neutrophil count - 9.11.

Absolute lymphocyte count - 3.35.

Hematocrit - 33.1.

Mean corpuscular HGB - 24.4.

Leukocytosis.

No health issues. Please suggest further treatment.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Your hemoglobin level is low. Hematocrit and MCV (mean corpuscular volume) are also low. So it could be iron deficiency anemia. For that, you need to investigate further with stool examination, serum ferritin, and TIBC (total iron-binding capacity) estimation.

Meanwhile, ferrous ascorbate tablet can be prescribed for low hemoglobin levels for at least one or two months.

Your total count and neutrophil are high. It could be due to any inflammation or infection in the body. For that clinical correlation is needed. If you have any clinical complaint then mention it to guide you further.

Repeat your CBC (complete blood count) only after seven days. If the count goes down then no need to worry. Meanwhile, empirically antibiotic course can be given if any sign of infection present.

I hope this helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
