Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 59-year-old female with a history of diabetes, hypertension, hypothyroidism dyslipidemia. Post menopause, I am under suitable medications. I have mild to moderate hip pain, continuous for five to six days. I also has back pain for six months. I took Paracetamol, and it did not help. Kindly give your advice.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I wanted to know,

  1. Is the pain in the front (deep groin), on the side of the hip bone, or at the back and buttock region?
  2. Are you able to walk and bear weight on the affected side?
  3. Is there pain at rest and night?
  4. Try a Paracetamol and Tramadol combination after consulting a specialist doctor. Get an X-ray of the hip and pelvis if the pain persists.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Pain is on both the sides and back buttock region. Pain is not deep in the groin and is not worsened at night. I can walk but prefer to take a rest. I will be grateful if you kindly advise on the dosage of medicines.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

  1. Ice and gel can be applied one by one with a gap of 45 minutes, five to six times a day, if the pain is severe.
  2. Take tablet Ultracet with Tramadol and Paracetamol (37.5 mg / 325 mg) combination twice daily.

Consult a specialist and take the tablet accordingly.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
