Hi doctor,

Can precum pass through a single or double layer of wet cloth (undergarment)? When I was rubbing against her vagina, the condom broke and a few drops of precum fell on her thighs. I am not sure about the vaginal part. She might have her periods in the upcoming two to three days.

Is it safe to give her an I-pill? Will it affect the upcoming period?

Please help.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and understand your concern.

According to your description, it is very rare to get pregnant in such situations, because sperm cannot live more than one to five minutes outside the human body. So the semen on the thighs will not cause pregnancy. And if her due date is in the next three to four days then that was her safe date, that means even if you had unprotected intercourse it would not have caused the pregnancy.

So she does not need any contraceptive pills like I-pill. Unnecessary hormonal pills will disturb her menstrual cycle.

I hope this information helps you.

Thank you.

Hi doctor, thank you so much for the reply.

By disturbing her menstrual cycle, did you mean the upcoming one that is about to come in two to three days or the one that will come later in the next month?

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I meant the upcoming cycle and also the next two to three cycles. But as I said she does not need I-pill because it was a safe day. So do not worry.

Thank you.

Hi doctor, thank you so much for the reply.

She is diagnosed with PCOS and is under treatment. Her gynecologist said her periods will come around the same time of the cycle. That is why I asked.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Please mention which medications she is taking right now because that would probably be combined hormonal pills, which also act as contraception.

I understand your concern, but it is 100 percent sure that it was her safe period. So there is no need for any unnecessary emergency contraceptive pill, it may cause hormonal imbalance and disturb her cycles.

Thank you.

Hi doctor,

Her current medications are Ginette 35, Berberine hydrochloride, Myo-inositol, D-chiro Inositol, chromium picolinate, melatonin and l-methyl folate tablets, and Rabium-20.

Four to five days back she missed a single dose of them by mistake. She was on her combined pills before her last proper withdrawal bleeding which occurred one month back. After that doctor did not prescribe it any further.

Thank you.

Hi,

Ginette 35 acts as contraception, so, many things are in favor of her and it 100 percent indicates that there will not be any pregnancy.

Do not get stressed, just relax. She does not need any extra pills.

I hope this information helps you. Feel free to ask further queries.

Thank you.

Hi doctor,

But by mistake, she missed a dose of Ginette 35 too. Will that cause any problems?

Thank you.

Hi,

I can understand your situation.

But it will not be a problem, I assure you there will not be any pregnancy.

Do not get panic, just relax.

Thank you so much for the reply doctor.

She missed it twice last week, one on Sunday and another one on Thursday or Friday. Will that be a problem?

Thank you.

Hi,

I can understand your concern.

Even if she was not on the contraceptive pill, there will not be any issue as it was her safe period.

I hope this information helps you.

Thank you.
