This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

My stomach is consistently growling while, I am eating and after I am eating, sitting, standing, talking. The good thing is that there is no other symptom.

What can I do to stop them?

Answered by Dr. Noushif. M

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

This is normal bowel sound which you tend to notice frequently. The movement of bowel cause sounds in the stomach. There is nothing to worry about this condition. If it is persistent and you experience symptoms like pain or swelling, you need to get evaluated with an Ultrasound scan of the abdomen.

For more information consult a medical gastroenterologist.
