This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

After sleeping in a dirty hotel room, I suffer from itching all over my legs and arms. I have a combination of red patches and raised bumps all over my body. I have shared the pictures. I do not know what is happening, and the itching has continued for days.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I have reviewed the reports (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity). Such type of lesions is commonly seen in travelers due to bed bugs. Please apply 5 % Permethrin (Cyclopropanecarboxylate) lotion all over your body at night. Take a bath in the morning. Wash all your clothes. Mix Fusidic acid cream and Hydrocortisone cream and apply on your lesions two times a day for a week. Take tablet Cetrizine 10 mg at night for seven days. Consult your specialist doctor, discuss with them, and take medications with their consent.

Thank you.
