Hi doctor,
I am a whitish color girl from birth. My covered body parts are very fair. How to make my face fair as my covered body tone? Can I use Kojic Acid soap and cream without any side effects? If yes then for how much time? Would it be permanent? Do I have to use it for lifetime or after some time I have to take an alternative for maintenance?

I have read your concern.
1. You can use fairness cream like Ilumax cream (Niacinamide, Phenoxyethanol, Chlorphenesin, Benzoic Acid) or Kojic Acid cream during night hours and continue Suncross soft gel SPF 50+ (sun protection factor) during the morning for at least half an hour before going out in sun daily.
2. Follow certain sun protection measures like,
a. Avoid mid-day sun especially 10 AM to 4 PM.
b. Seek shade whenever possible.
c. Wear tightly woven cotton clothing with long sleeves, and long pants whenever going out in the sun.
d. Wear broad-brimmed hats.
e. Apply Suncross soft gel sunscreen with SPF 50+ (sun protection factor) daily in the morning all over the face and it can be repeated after four hours once.
f. Yes you can use it for the long term with very few side effects,and the time depends on the response of your skin to medicine.
3. Review after one month.
