Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have shiny patches on my circumcised penis on a small region on my penis, and they are kind of hard, and it does not itch or pain in that area. I am confused. Please help me with a solution.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern.
I am very sorry about your medical condition, and I am glad that you are paying attention to changes in your body system. But do not worry. I am here to take care of you. Regarding your symptoms and the picture sent, I believe you have developed a lichen planus if you have not had sex as a virgin. But if you have had sex both oral, vaginal, or anal sex, then it is likely to be penile warts. I suggest you do a PCR (polymerase chain reaction) test for HPV (human papillomavirus) and return it to me with the results. I suggest you use the following:
Topical 0.2 % Tacrolimus cream, topical ointment 0.05 % Clobetasol once every day, or 0.2 % Hydrocortisone cream twice daily for a month.
I hope this information helps you.
Revert in case of queries.
Regards.
