Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have done FIBRO scan and the result was 345 median. Moreover, my bilirubin was 2.12 with SGPT 66. At the time of the test, my weight was 196 lbs. I have two questions now:

  1. My weight is now 185 lbs. Please tell me why I have little pain in my right abdomen occasionally. Is this gas or my fat is moving from the liver that causes me some time pain?
  2. Secondly, does it affect the liver if I do not sleep straight on the bed?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

The sleep position will not affect the occasional pain. The pain could be from a liver infection. But as it is occasional I do not think you have to worry about it. Reduce weight and bring your BMI below 25.

Fruits to be taken more. Sugar cane juice, apple juice, green leafy vegetables, etc., useful for good liver health. Avoid high saturated fatty diet. Alcohol should be avoided. Continue prescribed Ursodeoxycholic acid and Vitamin E tablet. You can consult a gastroenterologist for examination if needed. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
