Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have an artificial disc in my back L5 to S1 and am herniated below and above. I have an artificial left knee, I have had two rotator cuff surgeries, and have really bad arthritis. On top of this, I am divorcing, my mom had a stroke, my dad is in chemo and I just moved and got a new job. I do not do pain management. I try to treat myself naturally but I work a desk job and have had really bad shoulder pain and horrible migraine. Can you help with migraine? I was on Fioricet with Codeine medications and had three back surgeries, two rotator cuffs, and four knees ending with replacement surgeries. Kindly suggest.

Thank you

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I have read your query and understand your concern. Yes, you need to take the following medicines:

1. Tablet Alprazolam (Docusate sodium and Lactose Monohydrate) 0.5 mg once at night for five days before food.

2. Tablet vitamin D 60000 units once a week for eight weeks.

3. Tablet Calcium carbonate (Calcium, Oxygen, and Carbon) 500 mg every morning for two months after food.

Do not take any tablets if you are allergic to it. Take these tablets and follow up after five days. I hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I hope you are having a good day. Do you prescribe Fioricet for migraines? Kindly give suggestions.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Yes, Fioricet (Acetaminophen) tablet is also a good drug for tension headaches and it works, I do prescribe it sometimes. If you have Fioricet - then you can take that instead of the drugs that I have given you. But the combination that I have given you also works. Let me know if you need further assistance. I hope this will help you.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

Where are the prescriptions and can a Fioricet tablet be added as I am out? Please suggest.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

What I can do is provide you with the generic name and content of the tablet so that you can meet your local GP (general practitioner) who can provide you with a prescription. Tablet Fioricet (Acetaminophen, Butalbital, and Caffeine) thrice a day for seven days after food. Do not take this tablet if you are allergic to it or pregnant. Do not use it with other sedatives. Do not consume alcohol with this tablet. Fioricet causes some sedation so it can be dangerous while working in a kitchen or crossing roads or working with machines. Always be careful of your surroundings when taking this tablet. Try to stay at home for the initial two days of starting Fioricet. I hope this will help you.

Thank you.
