This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I missed my period for the first time in my life, and I am worried about the reason behind it. I am not sure why I have not got my periods yet. What to do now? Can you please help?

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I would advise you take the urine pregnancy test. If it is negative, then you can undergo an ultrasound of pelvis to evaluate the endometrium. If the report is within normal limits, you can take tablet Primolut N (Norethisterone), one tablet twice daily after food for five days. You will get periods within 4 to 5 days of stopping the tablets.
