Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had pain on the right side of my head and stiffness in the neck for a month. I am using a muscle relaxant for the same. I had an MRI scan of the brain eight months back, which was normal. What should I do for the pain? Is it something serious?

Kindly advise.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

It seems to be musculoskeletal pain. It can occur due to sitting or sleeping in the wrong posture, lack of exercise, or a deficiency of vitamins and minerals. I suggest you do neck, back, shoulder, and deep breathing exercises daily and avoid using a heightened pillow. I also suggest the below treatment plan for a week:

  • Tablet Pan 40 (Pantoprazole) once daily on an empty stomach.
  • Tablet Zerodol P (Aceclofenac and Paracetamol) once daily.
  • Tablet Trinerve Lc (Levo-carnitine, Methylcobalamine, and Folic Acid) once daily.
  • Arnopen liniment (herbal oil) to be applied to the affected area twice daily.

(Consult a specialist doctor, talk to him or her, and start the medicines with their consent).

I hope this helps.

Kindly follow up after three days.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
