What to do for nasal splint complications after surgery?

I had exploratory nose surgery a few months ago. They went in to look for a foreign body and to test for autoimmune conditions. Everything was normal. No foreign body. No autoimmune problem. I am having a huge problem following the exploratory surgery.

It seems the doctor put something on both sides of the nose that is black, and it looks like netting. It is not stitched but it almost looks like one. I read online and looked to find similar pictures to this, and it said that doctors use these when in surgery to keep the nose open and that they are left inside the nose after the surgery.

I just recently got the records to see exactly what was done. However, I am extremely concerned because this netting is wrapped in half, and now the area between my eyes, near the bridge area under the skin, is extremely tight. It appears that something went wrong with this 'splint', and instead of keeping my nostrils at a normal size, it is causing them to be so tight, and my neck and eyes are killing me.

Is this an emergency room situation or an ENT office situation? I feel like it needs to be taken out immediately, but I have been to the ER before, and they always refer to ENT. I would prefer to go to a place to actually receive help. What do you suggest? It was so tight inside the holes of the nose at one point that I had trouble breathing, and my neck is in such awful pain. Kindly give your suggestion.

I have read your query and understand your concern. I would like to know what tests were done and what the biopsy report said. Can you send me details of your surgery and a picture of your nose? If the surgery is done very aggressively, it may lead to fibrosis later, or if you have some chronic systemic disease or granulomatous disease, it may also lead to similar symptoms that you are having. The mesh-like thing in your nose may be a splint. But I need details. Unless you give me details of the surgery, I can just guess.

If you feel the pain is unbearable, please meet the ENT specialist as early as possible.
