Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I had unprotected sex on the second day of taking Primolut-N. My period got delayed but my pregnancy test was negative. Why so?
Please help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I went through your query and understood your concern.
Primolut-Nor (Norethisterone) is a medication that can be used to delay or induce menstruation. It is not a contraceptive, but it can help regulate the menstrual cycle. It is important to note that unprotected sex during treatment with Primolut-Nor can result in pregnancy. If you had unprotected sex during the second day of Primolut-Nor treatment, there is a possibility that you could be pregnant. It is recommended that you take a pregnancy test to confirm whether or not you are pregnant.
I hope this has helped you.
Thanks and regards.
