What could be the reason for the pain on one side of my testicles?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have had dull random pain on one side of the testicles. But the pain is not constant and more like dull bursting pain randomly. I don't think it is due to testicular torsion because I read about it a lot, and it's mostly severe constant pain. The pain I am having is bearable, but I am worried about it. Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Testicular pain is never normal; however, mild, dull pain may occur due to wear and tear due to undergarments and day-to-day activities, but I will suggest scrotal doppler as it is mandatory for any testicular pain.

Thank you.
