Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I was diagnosed with PCOS, also known as PMOS, and had unprotected sex. I took Yuzpe right away, drank four tablets, and repeated it 12 hours later. After a month, I felt bloating, slightly aching breasts, small cramps, and a little diarrhea, but no dizziness or vomiting. I had withdrawal bleeding. It has a medium flow and contains both clots and tissues, and is not a heavy bleed.
Could you please let me know whether I am safe and not pregnant? I do not feel bloated anymore, and my breasts are only mildly hurting. I am not feeling dizzy or vomiting at all. Please assist me because this pregnancy anxiety is extremely terrifying.
Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concern.
Do not worry. I will take care of you. Regarding your symptoms, I feel you have developed a pregnancy-related anxiety illness that manifests as those symptoms. In general, you are not pregnant since you experienced withdrawal bleeding after using the contraceptive pill. Please take one tablet of Escitalopram for two weeks.
I hope this helps.
Please let me know if there is anything else I can help you with.
Take care.
Thank you.
