Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

Back pain with white discharge could be caused by pelvic inflammatory disease or infection of the pelvic organs. Bacteria usually causes it. It is important to begin treatment as soon as possible to avoid future complications. You must conduct the investigations I have written to determine the cause. Also, begin the treatment as advised. It is recommended that you use a condom if you are sexually active.

Investigations to be done:

A CBC (complete blood count), pelvic ultrasound, and high vaginal swab (HVS) culture should be performed. You should also get a Pap smear test if you are sexually active.

Treatment plan:

Take tablet Metronidazole (Flagyl) 400 mg and tablet Doxycycline (Doxy) 100 mg twice daily after food for seven days. Also, take the tablet Pantop DSR (Domperidone and Pantoprazole) once daily before food for seven days.

Preventive measures:

Wear loose cotton underwear.

Regarding follow up:

Follow up with reports.

Hi doctor,

Thank you for the reply.

Can I start taking this medication before the tests?

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

It is preferable to begin the medications after the tests have been completed. However, it is best to start medications sooner if the pain is severe.
