I have watery substance coming out. My diet is mainly vegetarian, and my stools are not very hard. But it is painful to pass motions. There is a painful lump or flesh around the anus. It pains during and after defecation. I had this lump since my childhood, but now it has grown too big. I am scared. It is painful. I also have pricking sensation inside my anus. There is not much bleeding. My doctor has prescribed an ointment called Shield to use it. I am worried. Please help me.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

You have piles with clotted blood inside. The blood clot is the cause for pain. You need to do a sitz bath three times a day. Sit in warm water in the basin for 10 minutes. Avoid constipation and hard stools. Have two to three liters of water daily. Avoid constipating foods liked baked ones, cheese. Take syrup Cremaffin plus 20 ml (Sodium picosulfate and Milk of magnesia) twice daily to make stools soft. Once it gets soft, you can use it once a day. Stop it if you experience loose stools. Use Cremagel cream to apply near the painful area. Revert after three days.
