What cream helps burning pain from non-bleeding piles?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a burning pain in the anus after passing stool and there is also a small swelling. I also have pain while sitting in the chair. I suffered from piles 10 years ago and got treated for it. And it came back again two years back and got treatment. I am not taking any medicines currently. What cream can I buy for anus pain (non-bloody piles)? Please suggest.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Unfortunately, it is very difficult for me to say whether it is still piles that are causing you trouble or you have a fissure. However, I am prescribing you some medication and advice. I suggest you also see your general surgeon as soon as possible for a physical examination.

  1. Tablet Thank OD once daily on an empty stomach for 14 days.
  2. Sucral ano cream thrice daily for seven days.
  3. Do Sitz bath in lukewarm water twice daily for 10 days.
  4. Syrup Looz 20 ml at night before bed for 14 days.
  5. High fiber diet.
  6. Three liters of water per day.

I hope this helps you.

Thank you.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor, thank you for the reply.

I mostly have my food from my company and they only have this spicy food. So please tell me what I can do to manage that. Is there any medicine that helps me with this situation? I lost my last report because it was about 10 years ago. I am living in a village, so there is no specialist doctor for this. That is why I chose online consultation. So please tell me more details if any. There is a swelling-like thing in the anus. I never smoke, not an alcoholic, and I am a pure vegetarian. So why this happened? Please clear my doubts.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

Yes, you should try and avoid spicy food, especially for a couple of weeks. Maybe take your lunch or dinner with you from home. There is no medicine to negate the effects of spicy food you just have to avoid it somehow. There is no other medication that I would like to suggest to you at the minute, seeing as I cannot examine you. If possible try and upload a few photos of the anal area so that I can have a look. For now, follow the instructions that I have given before, and you should have significant relief soon.

I hope this addresses your concerns.

Please feel free to follow up if you need any additional clarification.

Thank you.
