Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have been suffering from worsening allergy symptoms lately, particularly in response to pollen. Every year my allergies are getting more severe, and I am starting to wonder if climate change could be a contributing factor. I have read about how climate change can affect pollen levels and exacerbate allergy symptoms, but I am still determining how this process works. Could you please explain the relationship between climate change and pollen allergies? Additionally, what steps can individuals take to manage their allergies in changing environmental conditions?
Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I just read your query and understand your concern.
With changing environments, there are changes in the level of pollen depending upon the type of flora in that region so with the changing season the pollen level changes as per the life cycle of the existing flora in that area. All you can do is use a mask and anti-allergic or you can avoid going in that area in that season. Wear sunglasses to protect your eyes. Keep the window of your car and home closed as much as possible. Avoid going to park for picnics in that season
Hope this helps
Please let me know if you still have any questions.
Thank you.
Regards.
