Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have had white spots all over my face for the last 20 days, and it recovers on its own. I do not know the exact cause, but can it be due to sunburn or a high intake of sugary foods? Kindly help.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern. I think you have PMLE (polymorphic light eruption), which is only a kind of sun allergy. It is more common in summers. I would suggest some medicines for ten days and follow back. Use Tacroz forte (Tacrolimus) 0.3 percent cream apply twice daily only on the spots. Use Photostable gold gel - Apply all over the face morning and afternoon to prevent sun allergy. Take Tablet Allegra (Fexofenadine) 180 mg once daily. I also suggest avoiding too much sun exposure and using sunscreen regularly. Thank you.
