How can I conceive fast after an abortion and a miscarriage?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have been trying to conceive for six months with no success. I have had an abortion and one miscarriage before.

Please help.

Answered by Dr. Uzma Arqam

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I went through your query and understood your concern.

I suggest you keep a check on your menstrual cycle regularity, weight gain, and abnormal growth of hair. Stress, anxiety, hormonal imbalance, hypothyroidism, hyperthyroidism, strict dieting, and strenuous exercises not only delay periods but may also cause ovulation irregularities. So, it is better to avoid these. I suggest you follow the instructions mentioned below,

1. Take the tablet Folic Acid (nutritional supplement) 0.4 milligrams daily.

2, Try to have regular menstrual cycles.

3. Avoid using recreational drugs as these cause infertility in both males and females and can even cause congenital anomalies in the newborn.

4. Try having recreational activities for mental and physical health.

5. Exercise regularly and go for walks.

6. Have a healthy diet with less salt, sugar, oil, and spices.

7. I also suggest you have sex in the fertile period of the cycle.

Kindly consult a specialist, talk with them, and take medicines with their consent.

I hope this has helped you.

Thanks and regards.
