Patient's Query

Hello doctor.

Could I be pregnant if I took tests every two weeks and they came back negative? I also get occasional bloating and chronic eye tiredness, although I am not physically fatigued. I have not missed a period either, although I am not sure if they are periods because the first was light and lasted three days, and the second was typical. I have had eye fatigue for almost a month and have been intermittently bloated for a few weeks. I am not taking any medications right now, but the first time I used emergency birth control was four months ago, and I have used it three times since then. I have not had any laboratory testing performed since then, but I occasionally did a home urine test twice.

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Regarding your symptoms, which include potential periods but are mild, I do not believe you are pregnant. However, you can stimulate your menstrual flow. Also, pregnancy tests taken at two-week intervals must be positive to demonstrate you are pregnant and not negative.

  1. Take a capsule of Co-Amoxiclav 625 mg (antibiotic) orally twice a day.

  2. Take the tablet Medroxyprogesterone (progesterone) 10 mg four times a day.

  3. Take a tablet of Norethisterone (progesterone) 5 mg orally if there are any symptoms.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
