Hello doctor,

My last period was 30 days back. This month I started taking the Regestrone tablet from last week. Yesterday, I got physical, but we separated before my husband's pre cum. After that, I took the Regestrone tablet again as we had some holy rituals at home. Can I be pregnant? What are the chances? I do not want to get pregnant. Please help me with this situation.

Yes, you may get pregnant as Regestrone (Norethisterone) is not a contraceptive pill. Therefore, you should stop taking Regestrone tablets and take an emergency contraceptive pill like i-Pill (Levonorgestrel) within 72 hrs of sexual intercourse to avoid unplanned pregnancy.
