Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I had the first part of a root canal done today with a temporary filling. I am feeling no pain anymore in the tooth. Am I okay to run or exercise today, six hours after the procedure? I had pain in my gums for four days before seeing my dentist. They said it was infected and likely caused by a fracture in the past.
Please suggest.
Thank you.
Hi,
I appreciate that you have chosen icliniq.com for your medical needs.
I am here to give you the best care possible.
It is perfectly fine if you are comfortable. Moreover, there are no precautions required in the case of a root canal other than maintaining certain eating habits like avoiding very hard, hot, spicy, or sticky foods during and a few days after the procedure. Exercise is good, and brisk walking is advisable if you feel that running may overstress you. Eat healthily and drink plenty of clean, room-temperature water. Avoid soda and drinks for some time if you are in any such habit.
I hope my answer was helpful to you.
Feel free to revert for more details and information.
Thank you.
