What is the treatment for seborheic dermatitis?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am a 23-year-old dealing with a really annoying flaky scalp situation for a while now. It is like there's constantly a snowstorm of dandruff raining down on my shoulders, no matter how often I wash my hair. I have tried switching shampoos and everything, but nothing seems to help. Could it be that seborrheic dermatitis thing I have heard about? I am just trying to figure out what's causing this madness and how to get rid of it once and for all. Kindly help.

Thank you.
