Can a penis extender help increase the size of my penis?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I want to increase the size of my penis, and I bought a penis extender. I am also considering penis thickening injections, but since I have a buried penis problem (my penis retracts inward when not erect), I am hesitant about it.

  • Do penis extenders actually work?

  • If I use it with discipline and correctly, can it really affect the length?

  • If I use the extender, will the retraction issue be resolved?

  • Even if it does not, is penis thickening treatment still possible in the case of a buried penis?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

I am glad that you are paying attention to changes in your body system. But do not worry, I am here to take care of you. Thank you for sharing this openly. It takes courage. What you are describing is erectile dysfunction, and it is one of the most common sexual concerns in men.

You are not alone, and it is definitely treatable, but let us take a look at this professionally and possibly related causes:

  • Hormonal imbalance.

  • Anxiety.

  • Infections.

  • Overactive penile nerve sensitivity.

May I ask if you had frequent masturbation in the past, painful urination, or take any current medication? So I will advise you to do the following tests and reply to me:

  • Hormone profile test.

  • Urine culture.

I will advise on the following strategies to help out with this condition:

  • Stop–start method: During intercourse or masturbation, when you feel close to climax, stop stimulation, let the urge fade, then resume.

  • Squeeze technique: Gently squeeze the penis (just below the head) until the urge reduces, then resume.

  • Pelvic floor training: Strengthening Kegel muscles (the same ones used to stop urine flow midstream) improves ejaculatory control.

Please take the following:

  • One tablet of Finasteride 1 milligram, taken orally once daily, for one month.

  • Apply topical Lidocaine spray before sex as needed (pro re nata).

For the short penile size, I will advise you to visit a masseuse to enlarge your penis.

I hope you are satisfied with my answer. For further queries, you can consult me at iCliniq.

Thank you.
