Short Wave Diathermy

Short wave diathermy is a type of heat therapy used to relieve pain and inflammation in body parts. The heat is generated by high-frequency electromagnetic waves. When the energy waves are applied to an inflamed area, it generates therapeutic heat to improve blood flow and relieves pain. One may use it in muscle pain, sprains, joint inflammations, and even for pain from kidney stones.
