Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been experiencing skin rashes and itching in my body while going out in the sun or when I go out to play and jog. But I will not experience a rash when I am in an air conditioned room or at cool place. I underwent a blood test, and it was normal. However, the doctor advised me to take Hhlevo for a few days, it stopped when I took the tablets, but I felt very sleepy after taking it. Please advise on how to overcome this issue. I am seriously frustrated and concerned about the same.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern. I have read your query, and it seems you are suffering from acute urticaria. The causes of acute urticaria are bacterial, viral, fungal, and parasitic infections. Certain drugs like painkillers, foods and food additives or preservatives can also cause urticaria. I suggest you take Levocetirizine and Montelukast combination once daily for around one month. Also, take deworming tablet Albendazole 400 mg single dose once only. A topical soothing lotion like calamine local application twice daily for seven days will also help you. I suggest you consult a specialist, talk to them, and then take the medications mentioned above with their consent. I hope it helps.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
