Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

Phexxi (Citric acid and Potassium bitartrate) can cause burning for both partners and may increase UTI (urinary tract infection) risk due to vaginal pH changes. Your symptoms, including spotting and faint test lines, warrant a full evaluation. It is only about 86 % effective with typical use, so consider adding a backup method, especially with timing issues. Discuss non-hormonal alternatives with your doctor, given your history.

I hope this information will help you.

Thanks.
