Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

My husband has got a stye and a swollen eye from two days. We have been applying a hot and cold compress on it, but it is only swelling up more. It is painful, and we want to know which medication we should go for.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

This may be stye. I suggest you to useMoxifloxacin eye ointment two times a day for two weeks.Capsule Doxycycline 100 mg two times a day for seven days. Tablet Paracetamol 500 mg S-O-S (as and when needed) for pain (maximum two times a day).Warm compress three times a day for two weeks. It should be fine in two weeks. Follow up after two weeks. I hope this helps. Feel free to contact me if you have any further questions or concerns. Take care.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
