Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I got a bump on my lips before two weeks. It is not itching. Is it due to body heat? I have attached pictures. Also, I am having acne on face. Please review the pictures and guide me.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Are you talking about the white patches or red one (attachment removed to protect patient identity)? Please send few more photographs of the bump and also the acne. Also, please tell me the complaint in them like burning or pain.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I am talking about a tiny red bump near to the edge of my lips, which is inflamed. I am not talking about the white patches. No burning or itching in the bump at present. It is there for around two weeks now. I do not feel any pain when I press the bump. My acne is under control, but red pigmentation is there. I have attached pictures. Please guide me on the tiny bump I have.

Hi,

Welcome back to icliniq.com.

It is a case of submucous cyst. There is no medication for it. It needs to be surgically excised by a dermatologist. It is mainly due to the closure of mucus glands. It has nothing to do with your acne problem.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
