Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
My feet get swollen, and I sometimes get knee pain, especially from the left knee. I thought it was liver-related, but my results came back negative. My poop is yellow and in small balls, not sausage. What could it be?
Kindly help.
Thank you.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I can understand your concerns.
Swollen feet could be due to many causes, including heart failure, kidney problems, allergies, and low blood protein.
The other possible causes include the following:
1. Infection.
2. Joint problems.
3. DVT (deep vein thrombosis).
Please provide me with more details to reach the appropriate diagnosis:
1. Do you have hypertension or diabetes?
2. Any redness in the feet?
3. Are both feet affected equally?
Please send me some photos of your swollen feet, and then I will suggest some lab work to identify the cause.
I wish you all well-being. Your feedback will be appreciated.
For further advice, I would be pleased to receive your follow-up.
Thank you.
