How to lighten up uneven skin tones?

This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have a question about skincare. My skin has been damaged from the sun and inconsistent moisturizing. I used to only do it once in a while, but not daily. My body is brown, but my arms and legs are dark. I have two tones of skin color, with light and dark spots. Also, I get contact dermatitis. My skin is sensitive. I would like to lighten up my dark skin and wonder what I can use. I have heard of Glutathione and Vitamin C pills. If that is not safe, what can I use? Please help.

Thank you.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concern.

You can take a Vitamin C tablet if you wish, but glutathione is not recommended. The body will take time to come back to its natural color. You have a double color because of tanning. So do not worry. Just cover your face and arms while going out and protect them completely from the sun, or stay indoors.

Please share a picture of the skin tones so that I can assist better.

I hope this information will help you. Please revert in case of further queries.

Thank you.
