Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have some inner thigh fat issues that lead to testicular pain. I have doubts about testicular imbalance.
Please help.
Thank you.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
I understand your concern and will definitely help you with it.
Inner thigh fat itself usually does not directly damage the testicles, but excess fat or friction around the groin area can sometimes cause discomfort that may feel like testicular pain. Sweating, pressure, muscle strain, or irritation in the inner thigh and groin region can also contribute to this type of discomfort.
A mild difference in the size or position of the testicles is very common and is usually considered normal. In most men, one testicle naturally hangs slightly lower than the other. However, if you notice significant swelling, heaviness, a lump, redness, or persistent pain, it is important to get examined properly.
Testicular pain can occur due to several reasons, including varicocele, infection, hernia, muscle strain, or referred pain from the groin or thigh area. A proper physical examination and, if necessary, a scrotal ultrasound can help identify the exact cause and rule out any serious condition.
If the pain is ongoing, worsening, or associated with swelling or urinary symptoms, I would recommend booking an appointment for evaluation instead of assuming it is only due to fat or imbalance.
Hope I have addressed all of your queries and concerns.
Do follow up whenever needed.
Thank you.
