This Premium Q&A, reviewed and published, features a real conversation between an iCliniq user and a physician.

Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been weight training for the past three years. Now I am planning to take anabolic steroids, but I have heard from my colleagues that anabolic steroids can lower testosterone levels and also deteriorate sperm quality. Is it true? Will anabolic steroids affect my testosterone levels?

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Yes, anabolic steroids are dangerous in many respects and are not advisable. Understand that being overweight is not health but is a disease. Ideally, stay below the standard weight.

Regards.
