Patient's Query

Hi doctor,

I have been suffering from tinnitus for seven years, but it has not improved. The doctor always gives me Ginkgo tablets and sometimes an extra Ginkgo tablet or Flocitam-VP. My hearing loss is at a moderate stage, and I am being treated at nearby medical college. There, the doctor gives me Absolute G3 tablets. How can I treat my old condition? Please suggest.

Hello,

Thanks for trusting us with your health care.

I can understand your concern.

You have moderate sensorineural hearing loss in your left ear. This cannot be cured. Further loss can be prevented by using neurotropic vitamins and inner ear blood circulation-promoting agents. Tinnitus has some ways of relieving it. Tinnitus maskers can be used. We match the tinnitus with frequency and provide an appropriate sound which if listened to for particular time daily can help relieve tinnitus. Caroverine tablet also helps relieve tinnitus. Other than the above measures I must emphasize that you should take adequate nutritious food rich in vitamins minerals and trace elements. Good exercise and meditation will help overcome the problem gradually.

I hope you are satisfied with my answer. For further queries, you can consult me at icliniq.

Thank you.
