Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have two white spots on my tongue that do not cause pain. The spots disappear for some time and reappear after a few days. I am taking insulin injections. Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

From the images attached (attachments removed to protect the patient's identity), it seems like the white patches might be due to occasional bites on the front teeth causing hyperkeratinization of the area. Do not worry, as it is a normal reaction of the soft tissues of the tongue and will subside on its own.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
