Patient's Query
Hello doctor,
I have consistent twitching in the bottom lid of my left eye. It has been ongoing for about for two weeks tomorrow.
Hello,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
This eyelid twitching can be caused by a number of different problems. In case you have only the eyelid twitch and have no other problems in your eye or other bodily diseases, we label such cases as essential blepharospasm. To reduce this, I suggest you do the following. Avoid tea or coffee completely for a few days. Get around eight hours of sleep at night. In case you have any burning sensation or itching or irritation use an over-the-counter lubricant eyedrop containing Carboxymethylcellulose acetate 0.5 percent 6 to 8 times a day. In case you have any other symptoms with the twitching or have already tried doing the things I just mentioned, please let me know. I would appreciate if you could share your doctor's records, relevant test results with me, I will do my best to help.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
