What problems can occur if the baby's heartbeat does not get detected in an early scan at weeks?

I had an early scan at six weeks and could not detect a heartbeat. Does that mean the baby will never form or is it just too early?

As your ultrasound shows it is five weeks of pregnancy, so it could be a late conception and you are five weeks pregnant. Get your blood beta hCG level monitoring. Are you bleeding or have pain? If not no need to worry about it. Sometimes early conception cause these findings, take a tablet of Folic acid tablet and progesterone to support pregnancy.
