Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I have a pregnancy-related issue. I had unprotected sex five days ago. He did not 'finish' me, but there were a few 'push'. But the problem is that I have concerns about getting pregnant and know that pregnancies can happen. Ironically, my right ovary has been hurting and feeling ill, like vomiting, since this morning. I have not experienced discomfort in my right ovary till now, but I suspect it is a cyst. And I often become ill when stressed since everything is tied to my mind if you understand. To add to the irony, I was ovulating at the time of the "incident." In any event, my period should arrive in nine days. So, even if it is late, I will take the test. I want to hear your thoughts, and should I see a gynecologist? Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I read your query and can understand your concern.

Regarding your sexual experience with your spouse and other pregnancy symptoms, I propose you do a pregnancy test for confirmation. If it is positive, then visit a nearby obstetric clinic for attention. If your symptoms persist, schedule another follow-up appointment via chat, phone, or video consultation.

I hope I have answered your question.

Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
