Hello doctor,

I have had sudden, intermittent pain in my lower right abdomen for the past five days. The pain has radiated to my back, and I am experiencing frequent urination, lightheadedness, and nausea.

Please help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I understand your concerns and appreciate you sharing your symptoms with me.

Based on your signs and symptoms, it is likely that you are suffering from a urinary tract infection (UTI). A urinary tract infection (UTI) is an infection in any part of the urinary system, which includes the kidneys, ureters, bladder, and urethra. Most infections commonly affect the lower urinary tract, specifically the bladder and urethra.

Women are at a higher risk of developing UTIs than men. While a bladder infection can be uncomfortable and bothersome, it is important to address it early to prevent the infection from spreading to the kidneys, which can lead to more serious complications. I recommend undergoing a complete urine examination.

After completing the test, you may consider the following medications:

  1. Tablet Ciprofloxacin 500 milligrams, twice a day for seven days.
  2. Cran max sachet (containing cranberry extract), taken twice a day for 20 days. Mix with a glass of water and drink.

I hope my explanation is clear. If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thank you.
