Patient's Query
Hi doctor,
I have UTI symptoms and the root causes are not found. I have visited several doctors but the symptoms always come back. Kindly help me find a solution.
Hi,
Welcome to icliniq.com.
Recurrent UTIs (urinary tract infections) can be due to various causes. UTI chances increase in sexually active females and also due to the use of public toilets. It is detected on urine culture. Investigations are ultrasound KUB (kidney, ureter, and bladder) and urine culture. Treatment depends on urine culture results with sensitive antibiotics and further management depends on ultrasound results. For prevention, I suggest you take cranberry tablets once daily and eat yogurt. I will wait for your urine tests and ultrasound results and then will decide on antibiotics.
If you have any more queries please let me know.
Thanks and regards.
