Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am 18 years old. I have grey hair. I went to a dermatologist. Under his prescription, I took Biotin and P-amino benzoic acid tablets for eight months. After that, he asked me to pull out all the white hairs. I pulled most of it. Also, I did not feel any pain while pulling white hair, but the black one gave me a lot of pain if I accidentally pulled it. Now I am getting them again, but not as much as before. I am using Altris 5 solution now. What should I do to get rid of grey hair?

Kindly help.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

Thank you for your query.

I understand your concern. The oral supplement which you have taken is supposed to work also a topical Altris 5 solution. There are no other alternative medications other than these. You should continue the application of Altris 5 lotion (Melitane, Xiameter Fluid) on the scalp. There is no need to pick all-white hair. Hair that is already white can not turn black. These medications help to prevent further greying of hair.

I hope this has helped. Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
