Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I am turning 20 in a few months and got an x-ray of my teeth which shows that my wisdom teeth are growing abnormally. I was advised to get the teeth extracted as it might cause problems shortly. I was not informed of this in my previous visit. Is it the right choice to get my wisdom teeth removed without any symptoms? Kindly suggest.

Thank you.

Hello,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

I can understand your concern.

The wisdom tooth can hurt sooner or later, and it is better to go for teeth removal (extraction) as there is no additional role it plays. If it is not hurting you, you can avoid the extraction. It would have been easier for me to tell if extraction is required or not if you had sent me x-ray reports. Kindly send a copy of your x-ray to evaluate better.

I hope this information will help you.

Thank you.

Same symptoms don't mean you have the same problem. Consult a doctor now!
