Patient's Query

Hello doctor,

I gave my girlfriend tab.Unwanted-72 after two hours of having unprotected sex with her. But she vomited after half an hour, so I gave her another contraceptive pill tab. Levonorgestrel after 25 hours of having unprotected sex. The next day she got lower abdominal pain that lasted for one day, then she was fine. But her period cycle got delayed for more than a week. So, I am scared. Is there a chance of pregnancy?

Please help me.

Hi,

Welcome to icliniq.com.

How are you doing?

I have gone through your query.

Why are you tensed? You have done the right thing. As she vomited, you did the right thing by repeating the dose of medicine. This hormone increases the inner lining of the uterus thickness so that the possible fetus cannot sit or implant in the uterus. Once the thickness increases suddenly, it will become fragile and will fall out within seven to ten days later. It is normal for the period to be irregular after taking these types of pills. If you are still anxious, you have to do an early morning pregnancy test with the 3 drops of her urine. Am sure that the test will be negative. If you still have doubts, check with the serum beta HCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) test on any day, early stage pregnancy anywhere in the body will be detected with this test. If you still have doubts, check with the serum beta hCG (human chorionic gonadotropin) test. Early-stage pregnancy anywhere in the body will be detected by this test. If the test result is negative, consult a gynecologist who can give you hormone pills for the withdrawal of bleeding. Just relax everything will be fine.

Hope I have clarified your query.

Thanks and regards.
