Can IMRT radiation cure my nasopharyngeal cancer?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. Chemotherapy and radiotherapy both need to be given. Later, you have to be on follow-up every two months in the first year and every three months for the second year. MRI can say that the volume has gone, but carcinoma is a mucosa or epithelial disease. Only a PET scan and a negative biopsy can tell you the exact condition of the disease.

What is causing my persistent tinnitus?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. The nasal blockage did not cause tinnitus, and hence, it is not relieved. The FESS surgery (functional endoscopic sinus surgery) you had was for nasal blockage and its consequences of auditory tube blockage and middle ear fluid retention. Now, after surgery, your nose is opened, the auditory tube and middle ear fluid must have settled down (or will settle down), and just a week after surgery, you should not start calculating improvement. Coming to tinnitus, there are various causes.

Could my tonsil lesion indicate oral cancer at 65?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. First thing, I would like to tell you is that on appearance, it does not look like cancer. But what you feel with your fingers is more important than what you see. This means that a normal appearing smooth swelling can be a cancer, especially in elderly people, if it is indurated on palpation. What duties involve helping children with hearing loss?

Hello, Welcome to icliniq.com. The primary role in working with children with hearing loss is an early diagnosis of the disease and etiology. Once the diagnosis is made, our duty is to treat the reversible cause of hearing loss (this is more common than irreversible or genetic causes). Our goal is to prevent the probable, diagnose the inaudible, treat the curable, and rehabilitate the disabled. Is a surgery mandatory for nasal turbinate issues?

Hi, Welcome to icliniq.com. If the problem is only for 15 days, then in my opinion, surgery can be withheld now. Your nose has septal deviation and turbinate (structures present on side walls inside the nose)hypertrophy (enlarged) according to the diagram (attachment removed to protect patient identity). If you are not going for surgery, then use topical nasal spray for three weeks.
